Sea: bringing out the beauty in me!

The tide seemed to be a hungry one. Sea on one side and humanity on the other. Which one had the greater power, this was left best for existence to fathom. But at that time, trying to figure out as we moved towards Marina beach, a feeling of humans overpowering the sea seemed quite evident.

The beach seemed to be coloured with denizens out and out, some spreading themselves across the light brown soft sand, some squatting in small groups, sharing eateries along with laughters, some talking sweet nothings into each other's ears and some well, just enjoying the fun and frolic of a Sunday evening.
Afterall, sand, sea and the evening, the combination could not be less than enthralling.

The poet in my friend came alive. His heart spoke out. The mouth was just a medium. His description of the sea was alluring enough for me to figure out his romance with the sea. As we dug our legs into the sand and moved towards the sea, he ruminated about his longing for the sea, bringing around streaks of nostalgia as he smiled towards the horizon.

I could not see the sea, yet. He could feel it from a distance. That was my friend for you.
Finally after a 200 meters walk, we could watch the sea. What a beauty it was! All of a sudden the whole place which brimmed with activity felt so nice an pleasant. The focus was generated to the sea and the rest, well was oblivion!

We rushed like small kids towards the water. Did we care less? Heavenly is all I can say as my feet touched the first waves of the sea. After that, I was all poetry!

We stood at the shores of the beach for quite sometime, speechless and looking towards the waves play their game.

Many thoughts lingered in my mind, of them some being calmness, happiness, gladness and blast me could not help thinking about the great Tidal Wave Tsunami!

Imagining the tide outdo its patience was overwhelming! The sea definitely did make me feel humble. Could thank it no less for bringing relief to my senses in whatever ways it could. Surely there would be many like me who feel glad about nature playing its mystic flute and soothing us in whatsoever ways possible, but the thanklessness of we humans was one which I could not get rid of even then as I looked around.

But that's a different story altogether. So let's keep this to thankfullness at this point in time. :) Cheers.
